Christine Frances Brough, 84, of Annville passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 1, 2022. She was the wife of Ernest Walter Brough, with whom she would have celebrated 66 years in marriage this coming June.

Christine was born in Lebanon on July 15, 1937, to the late Earl and Frances (Shutter) Light.

She was a licensed practical nurse for Good Samaritan Hospital. She was a former secretary at TOPS, where she served for 10 years. Christine loved her family and friends, with a generous heart, quick wit, and warm smile. She enjoyed reading, gardening, nature, and her cats.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Michael Brough (Cindy) of Orlando, FL, Cynthia “Cindy” Suhring (Scott) of Mechanicsburg, David Brough (Heidi) of Alburtis, Jennifer Brough of Lancaster, five grandchildren, Nathan, Brooke, Alex, Hannah, Lydia, five great-grandchildren, and one on the way, and siblings, Kenneth Light of Hershey, Susan Killinger of Davenport, FL, and Patricia Perkinson of Indianapolis, IN.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Light, Jr.

There will be a Life Celebration at the convenience of the family at a later date.
