Christine M. Evans, 63, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Michael F. Evans.

Born on May 16, 1962, in Allentown, PA, Christine was the daughter of Patricia (Reckus) and the late James Shirato. She was a 1980 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School and spent her career in multiple quality-related fields in support of the U.S. Navy, most recently at Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg. When not working, Christine enjoyed fishing, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family, whom she cherished deeply.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Shane Levengood and Kyle Levengood, and partner, James Schauer; stepson, Christopher Evans, and his wife, Liz; granddaughters, Emilia and Nora Evans; and sisters, Carolyn Reb, wife of Thomas, and Karen Arndt, wife of Raymond. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Shirato, husband of Sara.

Visitation will be held on March 1, 2026, from 1-3 p.m., at Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
