Claire Phyllis LeFevre, 90, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at home. She was the wife of the late Donald Eugene LeFevre, and they resided in Califon, NJ.
Born in Northampton, MA, she was the daughter of the late William P. Sr. and Diana (DuFault) Truesdale. Claire retired from the telephone company in NJ after 35 years, but began her career as a cord-board operator in MA. Claire enjoyed supporting charitable organizations, knitting prayer shawls, and shopping on QVC. Her lifelong ambition was to own and operate her own chocolate shop, which she called Ye Added Poundage. She was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick, NJ, before moving to PA for her final years.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana LeFevre-Allen (Mark), of Annville, PA, and Donna LeFevre, of Lebanon, PA; granddaughters, Elizabeth Roetter and Rachael LeFevre; and great-grandchildren, Victoria, Benjamin, Michael, Oliver, Katelyn, and Zachary. Claire was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis LeFevre; and brother, William P. Truesdale Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, 56 Old Turnpike Road, Oldwick, NJ 08858. The service will begin at 11 a.m., followed directly by a luncheon at the CEB. Inurnment will be private.
