Clarence L. Jennings, 94, of Palmyra, entered into rest on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024. He was the husband of the late Rosie M. (Gasper) Jennings, to whom he was married 67 years at the time of her death in 2017.
Born in Palmyra, he was a son of the late Freeman and Ruth (Eckenroth) Jennings.
Clarence worked as an assembler of jet engine parts with Thompson’s in Harrisburg and later as a laborer with Hershey Foods, retiring after 32 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was cleared by the FBI for nuclear weapons but stayed stateside and was a member of the military police. Clarence enjoyed hunting, WrestleMania, golfing, and traveling with his wife. He was a Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers fan and enjoyed attending the military reunions at Paris Island from the Marine Corps. He will be remembered for his famous phrase, “I didn’t do it.”

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia A., wife of Blaine Dove, of Myerstown; grandchildren, Stephanie, wife of Scott Smith, MaryBeth, wife of Marty Yee, Ryan O’Neal, and wife, Jennifer, Richard O’Neal, and wife, Beth, Daniel Miner, and Darcy Miner; great-grandchildren, Caden, Brady, Dylan, Ethan, Braylan, and Angelo; brother, Roy Jennings, and wife, Linda, of Elizabethtown; and sisters, Betty Wise, of Middletown, Pauline Jennings, of Camp Hill, and Ruth Lerch, of Lebanon.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Drew Miner; brother, Robert Jennings; and sister, Francis Hafer.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2024, from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville.
