Clarence L. “Noot” Marks, Jr., 88, of Myerstown, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Lillian “Dolly” (Kintzer) Marks, who passed away in 1990.
Clarence was born in Lebanon on May 2, 1934, to the late Clarence L. Marks, Sr., and Violet (Batdorf) Marks.
He was a 1952 Lebanon High School graduate. He was a US Army veteran. Clarence had worked at Indiantown Gap Military Reservation as a carpenter. He had attended St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Hamlin. He was a lifetime member of the Fredericksburg American Legion, Goodwill Fire Company in Myerstown, and a member of PA Sports Hall of Fame for bowling. Clarence was an avid bowler, having bowled 29 300-games!
He is survived by his brother William P. Marks of Lebanon and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother Robert L. Marks, sister Sallyann Brewer, and companion Sallie J. Deichert.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at Grand View Memorial Park, 500 N. Weber Street, Annville, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12 PM.
