Clyde E. Flickinger, 81, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at 5:59 a.m., at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. He was the loving husband of Kang Cha “Connie” (Park) Flickinger, with whom he would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 28, 2026.
Born in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late Walter E. and Mary C. (Smith) Flickinger. Mr. Flickinger was an accountant working for the County of Lebanon for 16 years. He was a 1961 graduate of Hanover High School. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon, where he served as treasurer for 16 years until 2023 and where he was a team leader. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his wife, Connie, he is survived by his son, Michael. He was preceded in death by 17 brothers and sisters.
Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., at the United Methodist Church of the Good Shepherd, 1500 Quentin Road, Lebanon, with Rev. Janet L. Saddler officiating. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment with military honors will follow at Ft.
