Clyde R. Henry, 93, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Juniper Village in Lebanon with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Marlene (Remlinger) Henry, to whom he was married for 75 years. Clyde was born in Lebanon, PA, on Aug. 31, 1932, to the late David and Marie (Patchske) Henry.
Clyde always had big ideas and made several businesses out of those ideas throughout his life, with the main business being CR Henry Basket Dealer. He loved to travel and wintered in Ft. Lauderdale for many years. He enjoyed his home in Wildwood, NJ, and was an avid boater most of his life. He loved spending time with family. Clyde was the life of the party and was affectionately known as “Clyde the Glide.”
He is survived by his wife, Marlene, and their four children, Russell Henry (Mame Henry), Susan Spotts, Michael Henry (Denise Henry), and Kevin Henry. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Robert Kreider, Heather Dohner, Ryan Spotts, Steve Mendoff, Jared Henry, and Andrew Henry, and great-grandchildren, Tyler Beard, Emily Beard, Zoey Dohner, Laila Henry, and Owen Henry. He is preceded in death by his grandchildren, Lisa Beard and Brandon Henry.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 5-7 p.m., and on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 10-11 a.m., at Thompson Funeral Home, 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
