With deep sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Curvin Laray Martin, who left us on April 17, 2025, at the age of 19.
Curvin was a gentle, thoughtful, and deeply caring young man. He had a quiet way about him, a thoughtful spirit, and a soft but sincere smile. Though he often carried the weight of the world in silence, he gave so much of himself to those he loved. His time with us was far too short, but the impact he made on those around him will last forever.
Curvin is survived by his loving parents, J. Michael Martin, of Lebanon, and Marcia J. Martin, of Newville; and five beloved siblings, Calvin (Janelle) of Clare, MI, Justin, of Mount Gretna, Chadwin, of Shippensburg, Jarin, of Mechanicsburg, and Jasmin, of Lebanon; along with two nieces and one nephew.
Curvin was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Irene Martin, Richard McLaughlin, and Faye Foley; and uncle, Kevin Laray Nussbaum.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation to honor Curvin’s life on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home in Jonestown, PA. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A private burial will follow.
Though we mourn the loss of Curvin with aching hearts, we also celebrate the beauty of his life. We will carry his memory with us always and find comfort in the love he shared. His journey may have ended, but the light he brought into this world will continue to shine through the lives of those he touched. Rest easy, Curvin. Your light will never fade.
