Cynthia Jean Conti, 71, of Lebanon, PA, passed away at her residence on Friday, December 16, 2022. Cynthia was the wife of Sally Ann Seinwill, with whom she would have celebrated nearly 30 years of marriage this December 28th.
Cynthia was born in Brooklyn, NY, on August 6, 1951, to the late Joseph and Ann (Sawyer) Conti. She achieved her Master of Arts from Hunter College, CUNY, on June 2, 1992, and her Master of Arts from Queens College, CUNY, on February 19, 1999. Cynthia was an executive assistant at the United Nations and spent 29 years in that capacity.
Having mastered the French language at the UN, she enjoyed conversing via the computer with her many friends in France until the wee hours of the morning because of the difference in time zones. She enjoyed reading and watching television (having enjoyed watching every single episode of “Law and Order”). She also enjoyed dining out, traveling throughout Europe, and spending time with her beloved family.
In addition to being survived by her wife Sally, she is also survived by her sister Barbara Vandewater, her brother-in-law Peter of Hanover, a nephew Matthew Vandewater and his wife Ashlee, and a great nephew Henry.
Services will be private.
