Dale A. Ritchie, 57, of Bethel, passed away on Friday, Oct. 9, 2020. He was the husband of Nina M. Andrew Ritchie. On June 6, 2020, they celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on June 24, 1963, he was the son of Helen Graby Ritchie of Palmyra and the late Ray A. Ritchie.
Dale was a part-owner and operator of Ritchie Logging & Sawmill in Bethel. He enjoyed working outdoors, landscaping around his home, hunting, and especially being with his grandchildren. He was a proud papa.
In addition to his wife and his mother, he is survived by his sons, Brandon D. and his husband Chad Shank, of MD, and Brian M. Ulrich and his partner Diana Wagner, of Lebanon; daughters Ashley A. Ritchie, of York, and Jamie L. Ulrich, of Bethel; brothers Ronald L. Ritchie and Gerald R. Ritchie, both of Bethel; sisters Marie A. Reed, of Lebanon, Karen J. Weidman, of Lebanon, Bonnie L. Hershey, of Bethel and Darlene K. Bechtold, of Bethel, and grandchildren Laci, Dakota, Makayla, and Adalynn.
A viewing for Dale will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
