Dale R. Hoffa, 79, of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Janet S. Hoffa, who passed away in 1998.

Dale was born in Reading on Dec. 12, 1943, to the late Edwin J. and Maggie E. (Labe) Hoffa.

He was a tax auditor for 30 years with the PA Department of Revenue. He was seven years past chairman of the Lebanon County Democratic Committee, a 35-year committee member, and a Lebanon County Democratic Jury Commissioner for eight years. He enjoyed family picnics, holidays, politics, raising beef cattle, hunting ringneck pheasants, and antique tractors.

Surviving is his children, Teresa L. Pajski (Mike), of Annville, Kevin S. Hoffa (Paula), of Palmyra, James R. Hoffa (Christine), of Pella, Iowa, Michele L. Hoffa, of Hollidaysburg; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Larry E. Hoffa, Robert A. Hoffa, and Diane E. Long (Donald). Dale is also survived by his companion of 25 years, Grace Weaver.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sheila A. Shuey.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 1 PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. There will be a viewing from 12 PM – 1 PM at the funeral home.
