Dallas D. Dowhower, III, 76, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 20, 2020, at home. He was the husband of Walter L. Shelly. Born in Lebanon on Mar. 26, 1944, Dallas was a son of the late Dallas Jr. and Ruth (Olpp) Dowhower.

He was a 1962 graduate of Cornwall High School and owner and operator of the former Butch’s Fish Net on Cumberland Street in Lebanon for more than 20 years. Dallas loved everything related to nature and wildlife, especially bird watching. In his free time, he enjoyed trips to Middle Creek and collecting antiques. Most recently, Dallas kept busy with online sales through eBay.

In addition to his husband, Dallas is survived by a sister, Darlene Heisey, and one nephew.
