Dana Shaffer Knoster, 51, of Lebanon, PA, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, Feb. 4, after a valiant fight with cancer. Dana was born in Lock Haven, PA to Dewayne and Diane Shaffer.

She was a 1986 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a 1989 graduate of Penn College. In 1992, she married her loving husband, Matthew Knoster. In 2002, she welcomed the joy of her life into this world, her son, Matthew Knoster. Dana loved life and never met a person she couldn’t call a friend. She enjoyed spending time with family and co-workers and will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewayne Shaffer.

In addition to her husband and son, Matt and Matthew, of Lebanon, PA, she is survived by her mother, Diane Shaffer, of S. Summit St, Lock Haven, her aunt, Darlene (Mark), of Lock Haven, her cousins, Mark Weaver, of Maryland, and Nicole (Ryan) Monoski, her godchildren, Sara and James Monoski, of Lock Haven, her father- and mother-in-law, Christian and Florence Knoster, of Lancaster, PA, her brother-in-law, Chris Knoster, of VA, her niece, Katie (Ryan) Pugh, of West Virginia, and her nephew, Jason (Becca) Knoster, of VA.
