Daniel H. Light, 86, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Cedar Haven. He was the husband of Janice M. Hollinger Light. On June 7th they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on April 30, 1935, he was the son of the late Daniel B. and Margaret Hanley Light. For 25 years he had been a dairy farmer. Following farming, he started Lights Refrigeration. Later he retired from the Lebanon City Schools, where he had worked in maintenance. He attended the Mt. Zion Road Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Dale D. and his wife Terri Light, of Jonestown and Terry L. Light and his companion Vickie Kruleski, of Grantville; brother James Light, of Lebanon; grandchildren Jed Light and Courtney wife of Jesse Rice; and great-grandchildren Nicholas and Sienna.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Nickolas Light and sister, Alice Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Kochenderfer Cemetery.
