Darlene K. Via, 77, of Jonestown, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at her home. She was the wife of the late Frank E. Via.
Born in Youngstown, OH, on April 8, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Edna (Morris) Shifflett. She retired from Reese’s, where she worked as a line worker. Darlene loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.
She is survived by her sons, Andrew M., and his wife, Vidalina Via, of Jonestown, Eugene F., husband of Michele Gladfelter, of Lebanon, and John Keller, of Lebanon; brother, Donald Shifflett, of Palmyra; sister, Betty Williams, of Manheim; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edwin O. Keller; brother, Joe Shifflett; and sisters, Barbara and Patti.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
