David B. Houser, 61, of Cleona, passed away surrounded by loving family and friends on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his residence. He is survived by his companion, Dar Schuck.

David was born in Lebanon on April 3, 1961, to the late Harold Houser, Sr., and Gladys (Starry) Houser.

He was a Lebanon High School graduate. He owned DB Houser Landscaping and Maintenance. David was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood. He was into antique cars, old trucks, antiques, collectibles, working, going to the beach, spending time at the firepit, and having board meetings with his friends.

Surviving in addition to his companion is a son, Joshua David Houser, granddaughter, Kinsey Houser, and sisters, Sallyann Suarez and Evelyn Houser. He is also survived by his wife, Sue Ann (Rittle) Houser, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold Houser, Jr., and Louise Houser Simpson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 4 PM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon. Interment will be held privately. There will be a visitation with the family from 3 PM – 4 PM at the church.
