David D. Chatfield, Sr., 69, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Cheryl A. Morrell Chatfield. On August 21st, they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Born in Saco, ME on May 3, 1951, he was the son of the late Horace and Marion Thayer Chatfield. For 55 years, David had worked as a mechanic and was currently working for Central Auto Works in Annville. He enjoyed camping, traveling with his wife, and especially spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Jill M. wife of Gary Fuhrman, of Lebanon, David D. Chatfield, Jr., of Womelsdorf, Kimberly J. wife of Sean Carpenter, of Lebanon and Brian M. husband of Jennifer Chatfield, of Richland, grandchildren, Rebekka, Jasmine, Melissa, Marissa and Austin, brother, John Chatfield, of Winston-Salem, NC and sister, Sue Chatfield, of Meridan, CT.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherri L., and a brother, Jim Chatfield.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date.
