David D. “Dave” Pfautz, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. He was 88 years old.
Born in Lancaster, PA, on Dec. 5, 1936, to the late Earl and Reba (McCauley) Pfautz, Dave graduated from Middletown High School in 1955. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country for three years, with an honorable discharge as a sergeant.
Dave was a loving, devoted husband to Sandra, his wife of 32 years; a proud grandfather to his five grandchildren, Nichole Dwyer, Anthony Guldner, Michelle Guldner, Michael Pfautz Jr., and Alexandra Pfautz; and a great-grandfather to one great-grandson, Holden Pfautz.
Dave is survived by his loving family: wife, Sandra (Radabaugh) Pfautz; daughter-in-law, Lenora (Mezell) Pfautz; late son, Michael Pfautz; step-daughter, Deneen Guldner; step-son-in-law, Lenny Guldner; brother, Donald Pfautz; sister-in-law, Margaret (Blette) Pfautz; sister-in law, Elizabeth (Dailey) Pfautz, and late brother, Doug Pfautz.
Visitation will take place at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042, on Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. A private burial for the family will follow with full military honors and will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
