David E. Rittle Jr., 38, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025. He was the husband of Amy L. (Strubhar) Rittle.

Born in Lebanon on July 22, 1987, David was the son of David E. Sr. and Kimberly R. (Hartman) Rittle, of Lebanon. He worked as an OTR truck driver and also did local trucking. He was raised on a dairy farm and enjoyed crop farming. He was a member of the Cedar Crest Class of 2006. While he was in school, he was an active member of FFA and 4H. He especially loved spending time with his wife and daughter, Avalynn.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his daughter, Avalynn; brother, Daniel J. (Chelsea) Rittle, of Elizabethtown, and their children, Parker, Riker, Raelyn, and Sawyer; in-laws, Randy and Toni Strubhar, of Ebenezer; sisters-in-law, Karin Acuna and Stephanie Hehnley, both of Reading; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing beginning at 9 a.m. until the start of the service.
