David E. Long, 64, of Lebanon, passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2021. He was born in Lebanon on Sept. 11, 1956, a son of the late Russell and Salen G. Williams Long.
David was the husband of Robin L. (Bennett) Long, to whom he was married for 25 years. Mr. Long was retired from San Giorgio Pasta and as a deputy sheriff in Lebanon County. He was a lifetime member of Teamsters and member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Christopher D, husband of Candi A. Long, of Lebanon, Kyle J. Long, husband of Missy Gibson, of Jonestown, Courtney M, wife of Thomas Allwein, of Lebanon, Sarah J. Long, of Muhlenberg, Jessica M, wife of Brian Wenger, of Jonestown, and Jennifer L. George, fiance of Matthew P. Wengert, of Lebanon, 16 grandchildren, sisters, Susan Maestes, of New Mexico, and Loraine Miller, of Lebanon, several nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Lucetta Bennett, and sister-in-law, Earlene Long, of Lebanon.
David was predeceased by his brother, Russell Long. A funeral service and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
