David Michael Risser, 68, of Lebanon passed away on Friday, March 27, 2020 at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. He is survived by his wife Janet M. (Klick) Risser, with whom he celebrated 12 years of marriage and total of 20 years together.

Dave was born in Harrisburg on December 6, 1951 to the late Lester and Mildred (Klein) Risser. He was a 1969 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Penn State University. Dave was a retired retail sales rep for The Hershey Company and previously a broker manager for Tetley Tea for 22 years. In high school, he played baseball, basketball, and football. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed volleyball, going to the beach, skiing, and traveling. He was a diehard Penn State and Baltimore Orioles fan. He also loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughter, Danielle Frisch and her partner Aaron Lower of Harrisburg; stepsons Gary Plotnick and his wife Kenya of Germany, Samuel Plotnick and his wife Chiquita of North Carolina, Jared Uhrich of Cleona, and Joshua Uhrich of Lebanon; grandchildren Gavin Jr. and Marcus Frisch, Kamesha, Darren, Nastassia and Samara Plotnick; brother Ronald Risser, sister Carol Risser, niece Jamie Orris, and great niece Gabrielle Orris, all of Harrisburg.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
