Dean Cagni, 51, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on March 23, 2023, at the VA Medical Center Hospice.

He was born in Butler, PA, on April 28, 1971, and was the son of Dana and Donna Cagni.

Dean was a graduate of Butler High School and Slippery Rock University. He was a 20-year veteran of the US Coast Guard, spending 17 of his 20 years as a medic.

Dean is survived by his parents, Dana and Donna Cagni, of Lebanon; sister, Deb Cagni, of Camp Hill; nephews, Brendan and Cameron McIntyre, of Palmyra; and dog, Chester.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Claude and Marie Schnur, and Charles and Emma Cagni, all of Butler, PA.

Graveside services, with military honors, will be on Friday, April 28, 2023, at 11 AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
