Deborah Lynn (Koennecke) Petrecca, 56, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon, following a lengthy illness.
Born Thursday, November 28, 1963 in Lansdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Gerhart and Karen E. (Kopp) Koennecke. She was married to Michael J. Petrecca for over 22 years until his death on August 9, 2014. Debbie and her husband, Michael, were the owners of the former Mama Mia Restaurants in Lansdale and Quakertown.
Debbie loved fashion and makeup, watching her daily TV shows and cooking. She had a big heart for helping others and an immense love for dogs. Debbie appreciated meeting new friends and no one was a stranger to her. She also enjoyed chatting on the phone, sweet tea, and Dunkin’ Donuts. Above all, Debbie’s biggest interest was spending time with people most dear to her -family and friends!
She was the loving mother of Taryan Koennecke of Philadelphia and Anthony Petrecca, engaged to Nicole, of Tyler, TX and was the doting grandmother of Nathan, Victoria, and Jasiah. Also surviving is her brother, Kurt Koennecke, of Palmyra as well as nieces & nephews that Debbie shared her endless love with: Meckenzie, Kyle, Kamren, Alyssa and Jeanette. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nikita Petrecca and a sister, Cynthia Lauffer.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Private burial will take place in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078, 717-838-9211.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Debbie’s memory to the American Cancer Society or to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
