Debra A. Rhoads, 69, passed away on April 6, 2025, in Lebanon, PA.
Debra Rhoads was born on Nov. 12, 1955, in Lebanon, PA, to Ira and Pauline Light. After graduating from high school, Debra enjoyed a long career in production with The Hershey Company. As she was a friend to all, who only heaven knows how many lives she touched, one wonders how many “kisses” Debra personally sent out into the world.
Debra married Kenneth J. Rhoads, and the two remained steadfast in their love and loyalty through Debra’s battle with cancer. The couple had two children, Kevin Andrew, husband of Jeffrey Naugle, and Angela Henner. Debra was foremost known for always putting her family ahead of herself. She is remembered by the many who miss her for having a huge heart. A fan of gardening and home decorating, she was known for taking pride in maintaining her surroundings and growing beautiful flowers year after year.
Debra is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children, Kevin (Jeffrey) and Angela; siblings, Neil (Joyce) Light and Sherry Leibich; granddaughters, Victoria Miller and Roxanne Henner, spouse of Tyler Walborn; great-grandsons, Finley Wingert, Cyrus Wingert, and Beau Wingert; stepchildren, Christie (Mark) Dunbar and Kenneth (Crystal) Rhoads Jr.; and step-grandchildren, Matthew Dunbar and Brianna Rhoads. She is further remembered by her trio of best girlfriends, Diane Klopp, Debbie Keller, and Sue Craig.
Along with her parents, Debra is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Vanessa Henner.
The service for Mrs. Debra Rhoads will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., with a visitation to begin at 6 p.m.
