Debra L. Snavely, 65, of Harrisburg, formerly of Bunker Hill, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at the Penn State Health Hampton Medical Center, Enola.

Born in Lebanon on Nov. 20, 1957, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Barbara Ann Shultz Snavely.

She was a graduate of the Northern Lebanon High School Class of 1975. Following high school, she attended and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Nursing Degree from Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music. Debra worked as an RN at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, the Lebanon VA Medical Center, and Manor Care. She was a member of the St. John’s U.C.C. in Jonestown. She loved going to the beach, and she enjoyed going to concerts, going out to eat with her family, and spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her sisters, Denise Ann Reyes, of Hershey, and Darlene S., wife of Tom Basehore, of Dillsburg; nieces and nephews, Jonathan, husband of Ashley Ritchie, Garry, husband of Elisabeth Reyes, Andy Reyes, and Liana, wife of Daniel Maxwell; and great-niece and -nephew, Weston Ritchie, Malina Ritchie, and soon-to-be Huxley Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her niece, Jenna Ann Reyes.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Covenant/Greenwood Cemetery, Ebenezer.
