Denise M. Wright, 75, of Lebanon, PA, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026, at Columbia Cottage in Palmyra, PA.
Born in Lebanon, PA, on Feb. 11, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Pearl (Heffelfinger) Brandt. In her early years, Denise studied fashion and eventually became a buyer for major department stores in New York City. Later in life, Denise was a volunteer for various mental health organizations in Lebanon and Dauphin counties as well as a global volunteer in China teaching young children the English language. She volunteered regularly at Wernersville State Hospital and Hershey Medical Center. She also served on the Board of Directors for Perform Care, one of the nation’s leaders in Medicaid managed care. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene A. Wright; and nephew, Roger Grimes III. She is survived by her niece, Meredith Veronesi, wife of Robert; sister, Carolyn Sellers; friend, Stephen Ulshafer, and “adopted grandson,” Jin Song “Cody” Zheng.
Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Kreamer Funeral Home, Annville, is handling arrangements.
