Denise S. Rooff, 67, of Lebanon, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024. She was the loving wife of Stephen T. Rooff, to whom she was married for 33 years.

Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Frederick A. “Fritz” and Nancy (Plasterer) Hummel.

Denise graduated from Cedar Crest High School and worked at the former Lebanon Offset for many years and retired from Lancaster Catholic High School, where she was head of food service. She enjoyed traveling to the beach, cooking, dining out with friends, and especially spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by a sister, Dawn Hummel, of Lebanon; a nephew, Tyler Keneagy; a brother-in-law, Brian Rooff, and wife, Ruth, of Rexmont, and their daughter, Rachel; and a sister-in-law, Patrice Bozzo, of St. Pete, FL, and her daughters, Ashley Bozzo and Megan Guth.

Denise was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Ann Keneagy.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, 2024, at 11 a.m., from Kreamer Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Inurnment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Cornwall. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of her service at the funeral home.
