Dennis C. Hummel, 72, of East Hanover Township, Dauphin County passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Born August 27, 1949, in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Robert A. and Eva E. (Basehore) Hummel. Founder and former owner of Hummel’s Auto Body, Denny loved car shows, swap meets, collecting antiques, country music, and old Westerns.  He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, wood working, and going to the cabin in New York.

Surviving are his daughter Ursula J., wife of Shawn Eckenrode, of Walnut Bottom; son Robert W. Hummel, of Hummelstown; sister Lori G., wife of Barry Smith, of Palmyra; and girlfriend, Eileen Houser.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Hanoverdale Church, 577 Hershey Road, Hummelstown preceded by a viewing from 2:00 p.m.
