Dennis G. Lentz, 65, of Denver, PA, passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Lebanon on March 26, 1958, he was the son of the late Ervin R. Lentz and Ruth M. (Miller) Mack.

Dennis enjoyed listening to music and watching MeTV. Some of his favorites were Alice Cooper, Hank Williams Sr., and The Three Stooges. He was proud of his 20+ years of sobriety, as well as his service in the Marine Corps. His last years were spent at Faithful Living, a personal care community. He developed relationships with other residents and staff. Dennis created a “job” for himself by composing stories and poems and drawing artwork for his friends, family, and care staff. He was faithful in doing this and was hard on himself when he felt he was behind. He was known for keeping his room neat and tidy.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Shirley M., wife of James Kennedy Jr., of Annville; his brother, Terry M. Mack Sr., of Lebanon; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Virgil W. Mack; and his brother, Gerald L. Lentz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 12, 2024, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
