It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis L. Boltz, 61, who left us on Sept. 16, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital.
Born on May 18, 1964, in Lebanon, to Leroy Boltz and Marie (Light) Cheney, Dennis was a lifelong resident of the area. He will be remembered for his passion for fishing and hunting, activities that brought him joy and peace throughout his life.
Dennis is survived by his loving mother, Marie Cheney; sisters, Christine Chadwick (Eugene II) and Jenise Boltz; cherished nieces and nephews, Daniel Keim, Heather Boltz, Thomas Moyer, Jason Moyer, Andrew Boltz, and Zachary and Charlotte Kinter; and great-nieces and -nephews, Leory Boltz, Sara Boltz, Taylee Moyer, Audrey Moyer, Tiara Moyer, Alex Moyer, Elijah Moyer, Zoey Cook, Jaylen Cook, Kynsleigh Kinter, Payton Gorr, Ava Boltz, Andrew Boltz Jr., and Kimberly Boltz.
His family and friends will hold him in their hearts forever.
A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Sept. 24, 2025, at 11 a.m., where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
