Dennis Lee Rhoads, 73, of Fredericksburg, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at The Gardens @ Stevens. He was the husband of Joyce W. (Henry) Rhoads. On June 4, they celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary.

Born in Hershey on Dec. 22, 1951, Dennis was the son of the late Herman and Annette (Miller) Rhoads. He retired as a MSGT from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years. He served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Annville-Cleona Class of 1969. He enjoyed R/C planes, going to Warbirds over Delaware R/C airshow events, and collecting Harry Potter memorabilia.

In addition to his wife, Dennis is survived by his daughters, Candy Mae, wife of Paul Goraj, of Pfafftown, NC, and Crystal Gift, of Duncannon; grandchildren, Delan, Trent, Kadeizha, Justin, Clarissa, Zander, Hallie, and Bree; great-grandchildren, Kalum, BradLee, Gavin, and Jaxson; and sister, Sharon Weiss, of Benton.

Dennis was preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Cummings; grandson, Mitchell Herr; and brother-in-law, Bruce Weiss.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. A funeral procession will form at 9:45 a.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
