Diane L. Charles, 80, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, in Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Col. Craig E. Charles.

Born in Lansdale, PA on Dec. 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William S. Bishop and Lillian L. David Seraika. Diane retired from Jonestown Dental, where she had been a receptionist.

She was a member of the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, Jonestown, and was a member of the kitchen committee and Women’s Aglow. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved the Lord and her family and serving and fellowshipping with others. She also enjoyed cooking, reading, Bible studies, and especially spending time at the beach.

She is survived by her sons, Craig D. husband of Elena L. Charles, of Dillsburg, Bryan E. husband of Susan Charles, of Elmira, NY, daughters Susan M. wife of Todd Fies of Mt. Gretna and Robin L. wife of Randy Mauk, of Lebanon, sisters, P. Dawn Bishop of Harleysville, Molly wife of the late John Gampa of Lansdale, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law Ruth Bishop, of Bridgeport, PA.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ryleigh Mauk, and her brother, Barry Bishop.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. at the Lebanon Area Evangelical Free Church, 200 Shepherd St., Jonestown. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
