Dolores J. Lutz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on Nov. 29, 2024, in her hometown of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Born on Nov. 18, 1945, in Lebanon, Dolores lived a full life dedicated to her family and her passions.
Dolores was a devoted spouse to her husband, Larry Lutz, and a loving mother to her son, Scott Lutz. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchild, Dakota Lutz, who brought immense happiness to her life. In her leisure time, Dolores found solace in playing on her Kindle and indulging in word puzzles. She had a green thumb and delighted in tending to her garden, cultivating both flowers and vegetables with care. Traveling with her family was another passion of hers, with cherished memories made during trips to Myrtle Beach and Ocean City, especially during Sun Fest.
Dolores is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Lutz; son, Scott Lutz; grandchild, Dakota Lutz; sister, Arlene Neuin; and many nieces and nephews, including Patricia Stone, Sandra Shirato, Karen Smith, Carol Neuin, Richard Plummer, and Robert Plummer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Elizabeth Hernley (Smith); son, Michael Lutz; and siblings, Belva Fox, Doris Plummer, Marion Ritter, and Sylvia Marinkov.
Her warmth and kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.
