Donald Eugene Kline, of Quentin, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at the age of 74. Born in January 1947, he was the son of Betty J. (Grumbine) Kline and the late Paul R. Kline.
After his 1964 graduation from Cornwall High School, Don worked for Eagle Graphics before changing careers later in life, following his passion for cars to Ebersole Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Honda, where he worked in sales and management until his retirement.
Don loved every car he ever owned, whether it was his first, a 1963 Nash Metropolitan, or the many that followed like his ‘67 Chevy II Nova S/S, his ‘68 Chevelle, his ‘84 Mustang GT, or the last, his special green 1932 Ford five window Coupe. Built in 1999, Don’s 1COOL32 took him to the annual National Street Rod Association show in York and other car shows in and outside of Pennsylvania.
Don and Susan raised their family in Annville and recently relocated to Londonderry Village in Palmyra. Don will be remembered by his family in so many ways: for his meticulous yard, his sense of humor, his love of his grandchildren, and his reputation for always ordering pizza without cheese.
Don was the beloved husband for 53 years to Susan (Smith) Kline of Rexmont, loving father of Pamela Bateman (Glenn), of Lederach, Beverly Hudson (Jonathan), of Palmyra, cherished grandfather of Victoria, Alicia, Brydon, and Jadon Bateman, and Madeline and Mallory Hudson, and faithful dog dad to Elly.
The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as we privately remember our husband and father.
