Donald E. Siegrist, 79, of Jonestown, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at his home. He was the husband of Joanne L. Stoner Siegrist. On November 20th, they celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lebanon on March 13, 1943, he was the son of the late Christian and Ethel Kohr Siegrist.

Don retired from Hershey Chocolate in 2006, where he had worked as a mechanic. He was a member of the Ono United Methodist Church and the Ono Fire Co. He enjoyed watching sporting events, especially the Steelers and Penn State. He also enjoyed playing golf. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Annette L. (James) Darkes, of Jonestown, Brenda K. (Stephen) Miller, of Lebanon, and Kristen M. Marshall (Jeff Taylor), of Annville; sister, Esther Peiffer, of Jonestown; and grandchildren, Kaitlin (Rick) Feldenzer, Brock (Katlyn) Irwin, Cayden and Brady Miller, and Macy Marshall.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Ono United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Ono, at the convenience of the family.
