Donald F. “Stiney” Stine Sr. passed away on Aug. 7, 2024, at the age of 96.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Dec. 2, 1927, to the late Albert M. and Mary F. Stine nee Miller, he dedicated his life to serving his country and community.

Donald served in the Marine Corps from 1946-1947 and Army from 1950-1952. His service was a source of pride for him, and he was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and several other veteran associations. Having worked as a Postal Clerk for the USPS, Donald was known for his hard work, dedication, and kindness towards all those he encountered. His commitment to his profession and his country was unwavering.

He is survived by his daughters, Linda M. Winters, and spouse, David, and Carol A. Stine; son, Donald F. Stine Jr.; and grandchild, Donovan D. Winters.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Theresa, Gene, Gerald, and Jim.

Graveside services to honor Donald’s life will be held at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Aug. 15, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., located at 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003.

Memorial contributions may be made to the VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042.
