Donald N. Brandt, 93, of Annville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, at Londonderry Village. He was the husband of the late Janet E. (Miller) Brandt, who passed away in 1979, and Gwendolyn (White) Ingalls Brandt, who passed away on May 14, 2026.
Born in Cleona, he was a son of the late Andrew and Eva (Speraw) Brandt. Don graduated from Annville High School as a member of the class of 1951. He worked for the former Ebersole’s of Lebanon, now Bennett, up until he was 90 years old. His career spanned 74 years, and he retired in 2024. He worked in many departments in the dealership, and his career was devoted to service. He loved to drive and was a proud Artificer. Don was a member of the Annville United Methodist Church and enjoyed candle making, hiking the Appalachian Trail, traveling to visit family, camping, woodworking, and spending time with his family. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his children, Barbara A., wife of Robert Kreider, of Palmyra, Crystal J. Brandt, of Palmyra, and David J. Brandt, and wife, Paula, of Palmyra; stepchildren, Patrick J. Ingalls, of York, Robert E. Ingalls, and wife, Lisa, of Hershey, Catherine I., wife of Charles Douts, of Washington Boro, Carolyn I., wife of Robert, of Maryland, Mary I., wife of Robert Lochtie, of Bellingham, WA, and Peggy I., wife of Gary Rhine, of Cornwall; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his son, Michael D. Brandt; brother, Carl Brandt; and stepson, Michael J. Ingalls.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Annville United Methodist Church, 1 N. College Ave., Annville. Interment will follow at Mount Annville Cemetery. Honoring Don’s wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation prior to the service at the church.
