Donald R. Leibig, 84, of Newmanstown, PA, died on Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the husband of Ann E. (Hallman) Leibig, who died on April 27, 2022.

Born in Stricklerstown, PA, on Oct. 4, 1941, he was a son of the late Harold Leibig and Pearl (Engle) Zekany. Donald was a 1959 graduate of Newmanstown High School. He worked as a road master for Millcreek Township, was township supervisor for 30 years, and delivered oil for Leffler. He was a lifetime member of the Newmanstown Fire Company, the Mount Aetna Fire Company, and the Newmanstown Athletic Club. He enjoyed camping at Raystown, riding his motorcycle, gambling, listening to bluegrass, and spending time with his family.

Donald is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth Leibig, of Newmanstown, Barbara Risser, of Richland, Dawn Leibig, of Newmanstown, and Donna, wife of Larry “Pokey” Miller, of Richland; sister, Louise Hainley; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianna Tschudy; and brother, Lynn Leibig.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home and on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at Millbach Cemetery, Newmanstown.
