Donice K. Dohner, 72, of Halifax, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at her home.

Born in Lebanon on May 3, 1953, Donice was the daughter of the late Edgar Allen Yocum, who passed away when she was a toddler, and the late Ruthella (Shartle Yocum) Royer, wife of Richard Royer. She worked and truly enjoyed her job as an administrative assistant for the Faith Tabernacle School in Mechanicsburg. She was also a member of the Faith Tabernacle Congregation. She especially enjoyed spending time with family, playing the piano, and taking the annual family trips to the OBX.

Donice is survived by her children, Kevin, and his wife, April Dohner, Ann, wife of Michael Gargiulo, Amy, wife of Justin Noel, and Matthew, and his wife, Hope Dohner; grandchildren, Courtney Dohner, Isabella Gargiulo, Owen Dohner, Matthew Dohner, Ava Gargiulo, Emily Dohner, Hallie Noel, and Emma Noel; great-granddaughter, Azalea Dohner; siblings, Dorlee Kreitzer, Darnetta Shaak, Jody (Carl) Bixler, Patrice Royer, and Rick (Debbie) Royer; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Bradley Yocum; sisters, Betty Royer and Dawn Peiffer; and niece, Gretchen Neiswender.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Kimmerling’s Cemetery, Lebanon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Faith Tabernacle School, 1410 Good Hope Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
