Doris S. Schlegel, 87, of Jonestown, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late David F. Schlegel Sr.

Born in Reading on Jan. 8, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Clair and Mary E. (Fenstermacher) Weaver.

She liked to go to church and especially liked to sing with the congregation. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center, and she was always ready to travel to different places.

She is survived by her children, William C. Schlegel, of Jonestown, David F. Schlegel, of Keys, FL, and Shirley D. Schlegel, of Jonestown; and many grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy J. Schlegel; and son, Thomas F. Schlegel.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
