Dorothy Ann Hibshman, 78, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Spang Crest Manor. She was the wife of the late Ronald L. Hibshman, who passed away in 1991.

Dorothy was born in Lebanon on March 19, 1944, to the late Edwin and Margaret C. (Eisenhauer) Gettle.

She had been a sewing machine operator at sewing factories. Dorothy enjoyed going to races, watching NASCAR, doing puzzles, snowmobile riding, and going to music concerts.

Surviving is her children, Ronald Hibshman and his wife Lydia of Lebanon, Kristi Becker and her husband Cory of Palmyra, grandchildren, Taryn Warfield, Kellee Younker, Jessee Hibshman, great-grandchildren, Preslee, Cash, Jaylee, Sylis, Alexandria, Lyjia, and her siblings, Clyde Gettle and his wife Ruth of Lebanon, Gloria Gettle of Myerstown, Anita Boyer of Lebanon, and Margaret Reich of Myerstown.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, John E. Gettle, Erroll Gettle, Dennis Gettle, Jean Miller, and Nancy Tice.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11 AM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville. Interment will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Myerstown. There will be a viewing from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
