Dorothy J. Kreitzer, 71, of Fredericksburg, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of Gene Kreitzer.

Born in Lebanon on June 22, 1949, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Yerger Minnich, of Pine Grove and the late Ray Minnich. She was a member of St. Paul’s UCC of Hamlin, where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member of The Ladies Aid.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Gene Kreitzer, Jr., husband of Erin of Fredericksburg, daughters, Jennifer wife of Robert Yordy, of Fredericksburg, and Kendra wife of Ian Beers, of Andreas, brothers, Albert and Arthur Minnich, of Pine Grove, sister Lucille Minnich, of Annville, and grandchildren, Madison Yordy, Regan Kreitzer, Austyn Kreitzer, and Emma Yordy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment following the funeral will be at St. Paul’s UCC Cemetery, Hamlin.
