Dorothy M. “Dori” Biever, 58, of Jonestown, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, Lebanon. She was the wife of Timothy S. Biever. On Nov. 23, they celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary.

Born in Harrisburg on Sept. 13, 1966, she was the daughter of Paul S. Kreider Jr., of Jonestown, and the late Mary (Wiest) Kreider.

She was a business pioneer and entrepreneur, having started her own company in 1999, Dori’s Doll Boutique, which she successfully operated for over 25 years. Dorothy’s remarkable ambition, determination, and will to succeed serves as an example for us all. Aside from being a small business owner, Dorothy enjoyed gardening, swimming, reading, playing with her dogs, and attending sports games to cheer for the local school’s teams. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother, thoughtful sister, and good friend to many.

Dorothy faced every new challenge in her life with a positive attitude, open mind, and energetic spirit. Even through her battle with cancer, Dorothy maintained her positivity and fought hard each and every day up until she was called upon for a higher purpose in the afterlife. Dorothy will be severely missed by her family and loved ones, who cherish her memory and the positive impact she made on their lives.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by her son, Ryan Biever; and siblings, Paul Kreider, Jill Good, and Becky Miller.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
