Dr. Musaddiq N. “Mo” Nazeeri passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on Sept. 3, 1966, he was the son of Patsy Lundsteen, of Sandy, Oregon, and the late Makeen A. Nazeeri, of Detroit, Michigan.
Musaddiq is survived by his wife, Sarah M. Nazeeri, née Rosselot; children, Albert I. Nazeeri, of Stanford, California, Elizabeth R. Nazeeri, of Pikeville, Kentucky, Victoria E. Nazeeri, of Santa Monica, California, Alexander D. Nazeeri, of Santa Barbara, California, and Alfred J. Nazeeri, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania; and siblings, Furqan Nazeeri, of Los Angeles, California, Yasmeen Nazeeri, wife of Kevin Hurst, of Bend, Oregon, Marjan Salveter, wife of Bob Salveter, of Sandy, Oregon, and Iman Nazeeri-Simmons, wife of Taj Simmons, of Bend, Oregon.
Musaddiq was a 1989 graduate of the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in physics, a 1991 graduate of the University of Oregon with a master’s degree in physics, and a 1995 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
A brilliant and compassionate family physician, Dr. Nazeeri dedicated 27 years of his life to the well-being of his patients and community. His work supported generations of families, grounded in a strong sense of responsibility and respect for those he treated.
In addition to his extraordinary career in medicine, Mo was an accomplished pilot. He found joy and freedom in the skies and flew with precision and grace. He brought that same sense of direction and curiosity to every facet of his life.
Mo had a fascinating mind, a unique perspective, and a quick and witty sense of humor. As a father, he created endless opportunities for his children to learn, explore, and grow. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and the many patients touched by his care.
A memorial service will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 22 S. 6th St., Lebanon, PA 17042, on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at 1 p.m.
