Duey E. Peiffer, 83, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on Jan. 17, 2026. He was born on April 30, 1942, in Lebanon, PA, to the late William I. Sr. and Claire M. (Early) Peiffer. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Geraldine M. (Royer) Peiffer, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1968.
Duey was a 1960 graduate of Lebanon High School. In 2002, he retired after 25 years of service from Snap-On Tools Corporation. Duey proudly served his country in the PA National Guard. He was a faithful member of South Lebanon Community Church. An avid Penn State and San Francisco 49ers enthusiast, he also had a strong interest in cars. He enjoyed listening to oldies music and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Duey was very handy and found pleasure in working on projects around his home and spending time with his grandsons. He was a thoughtful man who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Anissa (Steve) Hoopes; grandsons, Ryan Mogel (fiancée, Maggie Lynn Cantrell), and Jordan Mogel (significant other, Caitlyn Kleinfelter); great-grandchild, Leighton Mogel; siblings, Carolyn (Tim) Erdman and William Peiffer Jr.; sisters-in-law, Judy Harpold and Linda Peiffer; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth Peiffer.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at 2 p.m., at South Lebanon Community Church, 13 Evergreen Road, Lebanon, PA 17042, with Pastor John Kline officiating. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be private at St Jacob’s Kimmerlings Cemetery, Lebanon, PA.
