Dwight D. Johnson, 67, of Lebanon, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital.
Dwight was born on May 13, 1957, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Allan and Myrtle (Mayhew) Johnson.
He was a 1975 graduate of Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School and a 1979 graduate of Bloomsburg University. He recently retired as a Business Development/Territory Manager for various manufacturers. He was a devout Christian at LCBC Church in Manheim.
Dwight’s biggest passion was spending time with his family, riding his Harley, golfing, playing billiards with friends at Alden Place, where he resided, skiing, shopping, and going on road trips with his loving wife. He took such pride in his new home. He was a very loving and compassionate man with a larger-than-life personality and a kid at heart.
Dwight is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, of 20 years; his daughters, Stephanie Polinsky, and partner, John Scott, of Allentown, and Marisa Tordonato, and husband, DeAngelo, of Allentown. He was known as “Gampy” or “Ducky” by his two grandchildren, Carly Polinsky, his “Sunshine Girl,” and Jackson Serfass, his “Little Man.” He also had three step-granddaughters, Isabel, Cynthia, and Elaina Tordonato; a sister, Luann Angeli; a brother, Paul Johnson; and nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his son, Adam Johnson, and daughter, Kelsey Johnson, from his previous marriage.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. The family will receive visitation before the service from 2-3 p.m.
