E. Ann Meyer, 96, of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at Juniper Village. She was the wife of the late Reese Meyer Jr. MD, who passed away in 1987.
Ann was born in Harrisburg on Sept. 10, 1926, to the late Harry and Ruth (McCauley) Shellhammer.
She was a nurse for her husband’s practice and a massage therapist. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Lebanon, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years and on several church committees. She was involved with the women’s medical auxiliary. She enjoyed miniatures, making miniatures, making Moravian stars, sewing, painting, woodworking, redoing furniture, and working with stained glass. She built a dollhouse with her talents.
Surviving is her children, Lisa Meyer (partner, Eric Imhof), of Lebanon, and Jonathan Meyer (Kathleen), of Lebanon; her grandchildren, Sara Clark and McCauley Meyer PhD; and her brother, Burton Shellhammer, of York. She is also survived by her late son’s partner, Sharon Clark, of St. Louis; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Mark Meyer; and her sisters, Lydia Powers and Judith Schwalm.
Services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at 1 p.m. from Salem Lutheran Church, 119 N. 8th St., Lebanon. Interment will be held privately.
