Earl C. Houser, 86, of South Annville Township, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Anna H. (Shissler) Houser.

Born in Middletown, PA, on Oct. 5, 1937, he was the son of the late John W. and Laura M. (Heisey) Houser.

Earl was a graduate of Hershey High School in the Class of 1955. He was a dairy farmer in Londonderry Township for many years. He also worked at Brookwood Farms Dairy, drove truck for Zeager Brothers, and was a mill worker at Wenger Feed Mill, from where he retired at the age of 70. Earl taught Sunday School at Balsbaugh UC Church and Community Bible Church and served as Sunday School superintendent. He recently attended Rocherty United Methodist Church. Earl enjoyed trains, picnics at State Parks, and going to tractor shows. He was an excellent woodworker, often making many clocks, tables, shelves, and stools.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Kenneth E. Houser, husband of Brenda, of Middletown, Linda S. Houser, of Elizabethtown, and James D. Houser, husband of Donna, of Lebanon; sister, Mary E. Ebersole, wife of Dennis, of Elizabethtown; grandson, Jonathan Houser; and six nieces and nephews.

Earl was preceded in death by his brother, Robert W. Houser.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
