Earl L. Snyder Sr., 63, of Myerstown, PA, died on Friday, Jan. 23, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Deborah A. (Blatt) Snyder. They celebrated 41 years of marriage on July 21, 2025.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Feb. 9, 1962, he was a son of Lois D. (Brown) Snyder, of Myerstown, and the late James R. Snyder. A 1980 graduate of Lebanon High School, Earl worked as a mechanic for many years. Most recently, he worked for Bayer as a machine operator. Earl enjoyed hunting and working on cars. His granddaughters were his pride and joy, and he loved them beyond measure.

In addition to his mother, Lois, and wife, Deborah, Earl is survived by his sons, Earl Snyder Jr., of Myerstown, and Samuel, husband of Bethany Snyder, of Newmanstown; granddaughters, Mae and Stella Snyder; brother, Greg Snyder; goddaughters, Emma Willhoyte and Tessa (Willhoyte) Noll; and nieces and nephews, Brennen Snyder, Brandy Savich, and Kory Hibshman. He was predeceased by his sister, Rita M. Hibshman.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026, at 12 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home Inc., 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, PA. Visitation with the family will begin at 11 a.m. Please wear a piece of camouflage clothing in memory of Earl.
