Earl W. Walker, 96, of Lebanon, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 26, 2022, at his home.
He was born on Thursday, July 29, 1926, to the late William H. Walker and Mary S. Walker nee Smith in Berks County.
He was a member of Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church and was a veteran of the Navy in World War II and the Korean War. He was involved with the WWII Veterans, Armed Guard, Tin Can Sailors, VFW, and American Legion. Earl enjoyed his family, reading, working, horses, and eagles.
Surviving is wife Helen A. Walker nee Sonnon; children Donna J. Hostetter and spouse Kevin of Kleinfeltersville, and Travis E. Walker and spouse Sarah of New Freedom; grandchildren Phillip Andrew Hostetter and spouse Tamara, Heidi Elizabeth Kreider and spouse Kevin, Emily Marie Santos and spouse Jean Pierre, Nathanael Hostetter and spouse Morgan, Stephanie Andover Walker, Benjamin Travis Walker, Erin Amelia Walker, and Daniel Alden Walker; great-grandchildren Amy, Katelyn, Morgan, Kourtney, Austin, and Annzlee; sister Anna Mae Verry.
He was preceded in death by siblings Woodrow Richards, Harold R. Walker, Norman H. Walker, William Walker, Paul Walker, and Elsie Beall.
Viewing will be on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from 6-8 PM at Bible Fellowship Church, 1635 Mill Road, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the church, with viewing starting at 9 AM. Burial will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, following the service.
